Stylish Little Oak, ridden by Tucker Robinson for Brenda Stephenson’s San Juan Ranch, earned $100,000 on Sunday as champion of the 2010 NRCHA Snaffle Bit Open Futurity.

“I had seen my dad, Jon Roeser, Bob Avila, Greg Ward and John Ward all win it when I was a little kid and now my name is going on that list with them,” said Robinson, 32, the son of NRCHA Hall of Fame rider Ted Robinson. “It is really, really special to me.”

Stylish Little Oak ‘s compiled a total of 658.5 points with 218.5 points for herd work; 216 for rein work; and 224 for cow work. The 3-year-old Playin Stylish daughter was raised by Stephenson out of Shiners Little Oak, who had been shown by Ted Robinson.
