Meet Tina Robinson

Born and raised in western Colorado, I began riding horses at the age of 5 with my grandparents. My love of horses consisted of camping and packing trips in the Colorado Mountains as well as local gymkhana competition. As I grew older my love for playing soccer at a competitive level took up my riding time, but by my senior year of high school I found my way back to riding on a regular basis.
After high school, I was not quite sure what career path I wanted to pursue so I applied to a Jr. College in Northeastern Colorado that had an Equine program. After being accepted into the program I was introduced to the reining and working cow horse world. An internship was mandatory for completing the program and is where my cow horse career began.
I have been fortunate enough to have worked and trained under top trainers in various states. The assorted styles and knowledge from each of these trainers helped me become who I am today. The 7 years I spent working for Sandy Collier was the most educational and inspirational of all helped me to become one of the top women riders in the NRCHA. Her knowledge, patience and experience are something I look back on every day.
In 2013 I married Tucker Robinson. Tucker and I opened our training facility in Lompoc, CA that same year. In 2015 we welcomed our little girl Tegan Robinson into the world. In 2018 Tucker and I purchased our own place that we built into nice training operation in Shandon, CA. We have been blessed to have great clients and horses that keep us in the show pen as well as a talented group of non-pros in our barn. I am passionate about teaching people whether it is to be competitive in the show pen or being a more confident rider.
